The ShoWest Worldwide Box Office Achievement Award will be given to Warner Bros. Pictures to set up a box office record worldwide from $ 4.010 billion in 2009, it was announced today by Robert Sunshine, managing director of ShoWest, which will be held 15-18 March in Las Vegas . Expanding on a successful year which has led to films such as “Valentine’s Day”, “Edge of Darkness” and “The Book of Eli”, Warner Bros. Pictures has an impressive line-up film which is scheduled to open in 2010. Upcoming studio releases, including “Clash of the Titans,” starring Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes; New Line Cinema’s “Sex and the City 2″; Christopher Nolan’s “Inception,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio; “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows , Part 1 “; the Clint Eastwood-directed” Hereafter, “starring Matt Damon, and” Life As We Know It, “starring Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel and Josh Lucas.

Throughout 2009, Warner Bros. Pictures has a number of films recorded to reach the landmark, contributing to an all-time domestic box office record for the studio’s annual $ 2.130 billion.
