Since childhood, dreams Baron Manfred von Richthofen (Matthias Schweighöfer) is to become a pilot. Ten years later, the young Manfred was successfully joined the German air force and became a fighter pilot. Plot Summary: Europe, 1916. Baron Manfred von Richthofen (Matthias Schweighofer) is, at the geezerhood of meet 24, the crack airman of the German aerial combat forces – a fable in his possess time, a hero at home and a Negro both feared and respected by the enemy, including Allied Forces’ river pilot, Captain Roy emancipationist (Joseph Fiennes).

Manfred von Richthofen eventually becomes alive of his role in the propaganda machine of a senseless and barbarous war.

But despite the heavy losses in his squadron and torn between his disgust for the struggle and his responsibility to his fighter wing, von Richthofen cannot stop flying.
