Plot Summary: Set in an old fishing community on the outskirts of New York City, City Island is a funny and touching story about a family that was comfortable co-existence is the inverse of the revelations of shocking secret past and present lies. Vince Rizzo (Andy Garcia) is a lifelong resident small, tradition-pocket deepens Bronx City Island. A man who makes his living as a corrections officer, Vince longing to become an actor. Embarrassed to acknowledge the aspirations for the family, prefer to let Vince fiery wife Joyce (Julianna Margulies) believes his weekly poker games is closing for an extramarital affair rather than admit he’s secretly taking acting classes in Manhattan. When Vince was asked to reveal the biggest secret in the classroom, he accidentally triggered a chaotic series of events that changed the lives of her ordinary suburban reversed. Inspired by training, he decided to take a long-lost son of an ex-con Tony (Steven Strait) home to meet the family, and it soon became apparent that everyone, including student daughter (Dominik García-Lorido), teenage son Vinnie, Jr. (Ezra Miller) , charismatic acting partner (Emily Mortimer), and drama coach (Alan Arkin) – has something to hide. A perfect storm of deception, half truths and confusion make Vince and his family members realize that the truth may not release them, but it’s easier to track than all of them well-intentioned white lies.
